Beauty Standards Hurt | Sweatshirt

$35.95

I do feel that we need to question why we choose to follow certain demands that are unhealthy to our bodies.

We tend to overlook the daily suffering we subject ourselves to in order to satisfied others or our own self-esteem.

This is very simple and I don´t want to leave the wrong impression: I´m not saying that we should all hate make up, high heels or push up bras. Sometimes I love all of that and I choose to wear it. We can choose, that´s important.

I will never tell other women how to dress and it´s not my intention either to measure who is more feminist that who by counting how many armpits hairs do we have.

But I do feel that we need to question why we choose to follow certain demands that are unhealthy to our bodies.

We need to understand that the beauty industry profits from our selves doubts and that our bodies are politically controlled by an impossible and ridiculous ideal that keep us down.

Who is deciding on what we understand as beautiful?
