I truly felt very confused when I saw all that tees with the FUTURE IS FEMALE phrase. It was everywhere. That gave me a lot of to think about. I think there was a good intention behind it but yet was a dangerous statement. I thought “Ok, what they are trying to do is encourage woman to feel that we’ll have a protagonist role in the generations to come” That’s ok, but it’s irresponsible and simplistic. If the FUTURE IS FEMALE what about the other genders? What role will they have in the new society that’s coming? Especially the genders that do not respond to the binary order. I dream with a GENDERLESS future. Without labels that may determinate a way to be.
